Acklay attack!!!





Acklay


Just repainted a Star Wars Miniatures Acklay figure. While Star Wars Miniatures are 28mm difures, this Acklay looks beter with 15mm figures. In this scale its scale to humanoid is almost like in Episode 2. The beast have height of 7cm and have base of same diameter (7cm).

And here are different angles of model. It came with good texture, but I've painted his eyes and tongue, and then washed and drybrushed it to make this beast more realistic. I also painted and flocked its base. My idea was to give it's base a look of something between desert and grassy land, because you can find Acklays on planets with different terrains.

And here the same scorpion after drybrushing and applying matt top coat.
