From Prehistoric Times to Distant Future, 15mm scale leads the way!
Very nice work. Interesting that you're using clear bases. I'm doing four figures on clear hex bases and am hoping they turn out well.
How does the clear base work on the table? Does it show up with sort of a shine like in the pictures or does it really look clear and you just see the figure?
It works in a very good way. You see the model and also a shiny edge of base. Bases remain transparent, but terrain under them are enlarged a bit (because bases are like lenses). Most of the time its just like on these photos:http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lDuthXnzNk8/Uei3tewAY9I/AAAAAAAABw8/N1Rm7iIfnAg/s1600/Guard.jpghttp://3.bp.blogspot.com/-T9jSsSEb8JY/Uei3DT5-0zI/AAAAAAAABw0/0d9F9YunvHI/s1600/Cuirassier.jpgLike them a lot!
Nice job on the Peter Pig figures. I'm a modeler-gamer hermit, and this is the first time I've seen clear plastic used as a base.
Actually I think these are first 15mm figures on clear bases :)
By the way the guy in a bush hat from Laserburn range of 15mm.co.uk
An interesting change of basing strategy Fjodin- looks good!
