New Tile

My previous tiles were made of 1 foot cork tile glued with custom made MDF tile. My idea for using additional layer of MDF was to make tile stronger and prevent warping, but this MDF increaced weight of tile, so transportation of 16 tiles to local club was very hard work :) So I decided to make new type of terrain tiles, from 1 layer of cork! New tile was very light and its not waprs. I nearly finished flocking the tile and placed my recently finished terrain pieces on it for photo purposes.

Matchbox MRAP part 3

At last I finished repainting "Matchbox" MRAP! In this and this topics you can see how this 2$ model loked before I repainted it. My first though was to paint it in desert camouflage like Turkish Kirpi BMC, but then I decidet to paint it in green camo.

I have no idea what type of camouflage I painted, because its not real camouflage, but upgraded old soviet Berezka Camouflage.

Here are some shots of front and rear of the vehicle. I placed some minis for size comparison.

Rear of the vehicle.

I sculpted roll of camouflaged fabric from greenstuff. I also have plan to place HMG on roof.

Matchbox MRAP part 2

MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) have painted in flat base colour of Tausept Ochre. Next step will be camouflage painting, washin, drybrushing and highligting. As you can see this matchbox MWAP is very big, but compare it to real life turkish Kirpi. Its ENORMOUS!

I've just bought this Matchbox SWAT car for my 15mm sci-fi
After some internet research I found that design of this SWAT vehicle is very close to turkish MRAP Kirpi BMC 350-16. SO I want to paint it in desert camouflage colours.
Now have a look at real vehicle.picturepicture

Matchbox!

http://matchbox.wikia.com/wiki/MBX_Motor_Home
Just bought this 1/87 scale Matchbox Motorhome.

Why do I think its 1/87? Well, here is photo of real (not Matchbox) 1/87 motorhome and car.

Now have a look at these photos

I wish Matcbox to make truck based on this Motorhome, so I can place car in there. This Motorhome have some furniture inside wich block my car from getting in. Of course I alway can make a conversion

I need to repaint right car…

HO and Matchbox!

I want to share some Matchbox findings with you, suitable for 15mm Moderns, Zombies and near future Sci-Fi

ese are ultra cheap 1:87 scale Moder Railroad cars. You may be familiar with thouse cars.
Comparison shot with Rebel Minis Earth Force Marine

Matchbox bulldozer. I bought it a year ago. This vehicle will fit well 15mm sci-fi outposts!

Small Matchbox bulldozer, bought in Target for about a week ago! Fits 15mm scale very well

Another Matchbox truck. Not sure about it scale. It looks big camparing to HO car.

But comparing to just only 15mm figure it looks well. At leas its cabinlooks perfectly for 15mm figure.....
